Travis has spent eight years investing across growth equity, private equity, and venture, focusing on energy transition, industrial decarbonization, sustainability, consumer, and resilience.

At Broadscale, Travis supports the firm's investment activities across sourcing, diligence, and transaction execution, and works with the team on Corporate Network engagement.

Travis is also an Investment Principal at Spades Capital, a growth equity and pre-IPO sponsor investing across the energy transition, subsurface, defense, and space sectors.

He was previously an Investment Principal at Morgan Stanley's $750m 1GT Fund, a growth equity strategy focused on the energy transition and decarbonization solutions. He started his investing career at Roark Capital Group, a $41B AUM private equity sponsor. Across his career, Travis has completed transactions totalling >$6B in total enterprise value from seed through multi-billion dollar buyouts.

Travis received an MBA from Columbia Business School, where he was the co-president of the Green Business Club, a Three Cairns Climate Fellow, and a Lang Fund Venture Fellow. He holds a B.A. in Economics from Vanderbilt University, where he graduated magna cum laude.
