PETE SCHORK, Principal

Pete has nearly a decade of experience as an investor in and advisor to companies active in sustainable technology and innovation, drawing upon his lifelong interest in energy innovation and background in sustainable finance.

Since joining Broadscale in 2014, Pete has played a key role in scaling the firm’s venture platform, which has invested in leading sustainable technology companies including Proterra, Revel, Generate Capital, Getaround, Via, and Audigent. He is involved in all aspects of deal formation and advising Broadscale’s portfolio companies.

Pete actively advises Broadscale’s Corporate Network Members on investments and partnerships and on sourcing opportunities, including the 130+ leading growth companies that have engaged with the Network since 2012, which have raised $13B+ in capital since inception.

Prior to Broadscale, Pete was an Investment Banker in UBS’s Global Power and Renewable Energy Group where he worked on several billions of dollars in transactions.

Pete received an A.B. in Public Policy Studies from Duke University, where he served as student body president and on numerous board of trustee and university committees.
