ADVISOR

Jonah is a founding partner of Fuse Strategy Group, a consultancy focused on the intersection of business, brand, and communications. Fuse Strategy Group helps organizations seize moments of opportunity to drive business transformation and growth.

A veteran communications strategist, founder, and digital agency CEO with more than three decades working at the intersection of the internet and US politics, Jonah has previously founded two successful digital agencies and a leading digital rights non-profit, and has served a senior advisor and strategist to Fortune 500 companies, industry associations, and federal, state, and local office candidates.

As founder and CEO of Connections Media, Jonah built and led an agency providing digital strategy, design, digital marketing, and analytics to leading foundations, industry associations, Fortune 500 companies, and select candidates for local, state, and federal office, including the Aspen Institute, the Auto Alliance, Bloomberg Philanthropies, JDRF, Google, NBC, PhRMA, Starbucks, the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, and New York City Mayor Mike Bloomberg’s 2005 and 2009 re-election campaigns. Connections Media was founded in 2004 and acquired in 2013 by the communications agency holding company Next15. The firm became part of its Outcast agency in 2019.

Before Connections Media, in 1997 Jonah was co-founder and Chief Strategist of Mindshare Internet Campaigns - a first-of-its-kind strategy and technology consultancy offering Internet strategies for corporate, association, and non-profit clients, including AOL, the Business Software Alliance, HP, and the Markle Foundation.

Jonah was previously Communications Director at the Center for Democracy & Technology (CDT), which promotes democratic values and constitutional liberties in the digital age. As one of the organization’s five co-founders in 1994, Jonah’s role was to establish and build the communications operation, including all digital and media relations. During this time, CDT gained national prominence, shaping public policy for the early internet related to privacy, security, and free expression. He began his career working on telecommunications policy for a leading member of Congress.

Jonah has served as an Advisor to Mixing Board, powered by Axios - a community of top brand and communications leaders, since 2021 and an Advisor to the Broadscale Group since 2020.
